New dedicated server

We're back on a newer, faster dedicated server, a big thanks to all the members that helped to fund this. As you may have noticed there are some missing downloads in the forum at the moment, they will all return during the next week. Over the past few days I have been restoring the members area which of course is more important.
Please message me if you experience any problems.

The thumbnailer is working again, sorry about the delay. Most if not all of the forum videos marked with 'db' in the filename have been uploaded btw, what ones are missing?

Far as I can tell, it's just those posts between I think the 18th and 24th of Feb that are missing. That is, the posts in their entirity, not just the videos they link to. Or are they completely lost?

I have uploaded 15 of your tpir videos dated between the 18th and 24th of Feb 2005. The actual videos aren't lost, just the posts they were in :/ I'll see what I can do about getting that fixed. Thanks for letting us know about the error, chances are there are some other forum member posts that are also missing between those dates.

Still seem to be a few missing atm. Had a go at the Pumped Up DOwn Under 2004 Calendar ones without luck.

Someone brought to my attention that the video "Holly Valance - Kiss Kiss (Live at Festivalbar).avi" was also missing.

All videos have been reuploaded now. We will look for the few missing posts and try to get them back up also, thanks again for the heads up on that donbot. The forum and associated attachments mod are both being upgraded tonight to the latest versions in hope of fixing a few minor script errors we are currently experiencing.

We are doubling this servers RAM to help cope with increased traffic and server queries experienced lately, this will be completed sometime between now and tomorrow

We are shifting to a new multi-core dedicated server because the current one is way too slow and dies under high load. Forums may be down at times during the move. The migration should be finished by this time tomorrow at the latest

Sorry about the massive delay, we had a few problems with the latest database copy which in the end was unrepairable in the time frame we had. A db backup from the 12th of this month had to be used and as a result 6 messages and 2 video posts were lost in the rollback (they will be replaced). Anyway the site is back up and running now, tweaking is over, everything should run smooth from here. Please let me know if you come across any bugs, cheers

We're getting a fast new dedicated server for this site tomorrow so there will be a few hours downtime while we migrate over.

We have moved the site from a Dual Core 10Mbps port dedicated server to a Quad Core 100Mpbs up link port with double the ram. A big thanks to all the members for contributing to this upgrade. Sorry about the downtime, migrating 110GB of data from the old server to the new took longer than expected :oops:

We did a few tests and everything should be good to go now but please do let us know if you notice any problems.

We are shifting to a Xeon powered dedicated server. Migration should be complete in the next 24 to 48 hours.
