VirtualDub audio sync problems
This is how I fix audio skew problems in virtualdub when a simple audio delay won't do the job.
Convert the audio into a wav file and then importing that into virtualdub under the audio settings where it says "Wav audio...". That alone has fixed some audio skew problems i've had.
If you come accross a recording where one bit is in sync (before or after using VDubs audio delay) and another part/s of the file isn't then you should remove the out-of-sync bit and save the good part (use CBR audio and force framerate to 25fps). Now undo your previous edit (Edit>Undo) and remove the good part you just saved. Sync the audio of the bad bit and then save that again using CBR and forced framrate. Then join the files together as one using append in Vdub... It's alot of screwing around but sometimes this is what needs to be done. The Myth Busters video I previously uploaded had this problem and it's the only way I could fix it.
