1. This isn't a warez forum
2. What type of conversion do you need it for?

In most cases the following would do the job for you:
- Edit in VirtualDub (or similar) save as AVI
- Use SUPER, AviDemux or VLC to convert to QuickTIme compatible MP4 format.

I was hoping to get it so as to be able to post some videos that are in quicktime & i was going to post them as they weren't on the forums

If you are talking about saving Quicktime movies from websites (such as Zoo), then there are ways to do this without upgrading (ie. paying) for Quicktime Pro.
1. After the video has fully streamed from the website, you can check your "Temporary Internet Files" folder and try to copy the file from there.
2. If that doesn't work you can view the source code (HTML) of the page with the video playing, and try to determine the URL of the particular MOV file. You can then paste this address into a web browser and load the file on its own (I use Firefox for this) and then "Save Page As" will let you save the MOV file ... voila!
