this vid doesn't work on my computer...it just causes the computer to crash

any ideas? :?:

hey slinkyslater, sounds like it could be a corrupt codec install. Try uninstalling the codec (Xvid in this case) and reinstalling.
    What player are you using for this vid?
    is it the only vid that does it?
    has it happened before?

i am using windows media player
this is the only video that does it
and no it never has done it before

it does not come up with a preview when i click on the video either and when i do run it the computer comes up with an error report tool...

I just tried it and it's perfectly fine. I get a preview as well. You've got a screwed codec so reinstall them slinkyslater. Open the file with GSpot and see what happens

yeah...it did all i had to do is reinstall the codec...thanks for your help
