Editing *.tivo files.

Hey guys, does anyone on here know any applications that can edit or convert the *.tivo files that you get off a latest generation tivo? Appreciate any help. Cheers

There are a few things you can do... Tivo recommend their partner companies software to edit the files - http://www.sonic.com/consumer.aspx

Apparently the .tivo extension is just a wrapper over an mpeg2 file, you can remove it using this - http://greg_burns.home.comcast.net/DirectShowDump.zip (See step 2 here) and then use free software like avidemux or virtualdub-mpeg2 to edit the file...

For more information just search Google with something like "convert .tivo to .mpeg"...
