Allowed upload file formats

I've tried (unsuccessfully, mind you) to upload some FHM GND clips.
After waiting 20mins the preview shows up with no file attached.
I'm guessing it's because I've captured my vids into MP4 format.

Any chance of getting the MP4 extension allowed on the board?
It's a great format - esp. with H.264 for video and AAC audio.

Had the same prob last week with a divx clip. I just rencoded to avi with virtualdub using an earlier divx codec. Interesting question though, see what the admin has to say.

This is the list of filetypes that can be uploaded :

Videos - asf, avi, divx, flv, m2v, mkv, mov, mp4, mpa, mpe, mpeg, mpg, mv, ram, rm, swf, vob, wma, wmv

Images - jpg, jpeg, gif, png, tga, tif

Other - rar, zip

The file size limit is currently 120MB.

If you would like to suggest another extension for us to consider adding please let me know.
