after all this waiting and I can't see it. Just putting in a request for someone to convert it out of WMV3 for us mac users, unless there is a mac tool for doing so that I'm not aware of? Any help appreciated :lol:

try downloading this little plugin for your quicktime player.

Thankyou snailtrail for your assistance, however I still can't open the file. It is opening other wmv files in QT but not most WMV3 files, the quest continues...

thankyou you again snailtrail and to cflash, a long frustrating issue has been solved. Thankfully I have stockpiled videos like it that haven't worked over the years and now have a folder full of new stuff! Turns out flip4mac was correct, I just hadn't restarted my computer (I am assuming)
