I've edited out most of the dialogue, but you guys are only missing out on Jamie walking around topless.

I'm not a huge Perry fan - so sick of her whining.

p.s what do you use to capture and edit etc?

I use VirtualDub to edit. I'd recommend using DV8's guide initially, it's really easy to follow.

Does anyone have the clip of Perry in the shower with stilettos on? I only have it on dodgy vhs coz at the time it aired I had to stay at parents place due to a work injury, So had no dvd recorder or digital but u get that.

I spent an hour trying to get a perry clip converted so i could upload it and it came out crap I need a fool proof way of converting vob clips to avi. Are there any programs that do it all? I've tried virtual dub without success

What was the problem with VirtualDub?
Make sure you're using VirtualDubMod.

my dvds dont have any protection so that anydvd isnt necessary. I tried virtual dub again and the audio was out of sync. Can I just upload a vob file?

If they're not protected then I don't see why VDub mod doesn't do the job ...have you tried uploading a .vob yet? ...anyway like quickurn said this isn't the place to talk about it...

Try using a program like TMpegEnc to export the audio stream as a WAV. Then use an audio ediitor to manually convert the sample rate from 48khz to 44.1khz. Save.

Then check the length of the WAV against what VDub reports as the length of the video stream.

In vdub discard the audio stream from the vob and import the WAV as a new stream. Set compression options.

Should help with sync-errors from direct onversions.
