the avi file doesnt seem to work...i tried opening it in winamp and it recognises it as a 3 second media clip but nothing shows up...

The current version of WinAmp doesn't seem to support DivX codec, maybe it can be installed or turned on as an option but i am not too sure.

You are better off using one of these two free DivX players -

In future once you have downloaded a movie onto your hardrive do a right click on it and then click properties, you can usually find the codec being used named in there somewhere :wink:

but i still cant play the file...BSPlayer says its an unknown file (div3 format)

can anyone help?

ok try this ThePhoenix -

open BSPlayer and do a right click on it so that you see "Options" in the menu, go to that and another menu will pop out with "Preferences", click on that.

Now you should see a menu with a bunch of tabs "Video" is one of them (the very first tab), click that and you should see a checkbox called "Use DivX 4 decoder for MP43,DIV3,DIV4", make sure thats checked.

Hopefully that was just unchecked and it will work for you now, let us know how you go

Finally i can play the video file...yes it was a div3 file format...my friend suggested i update my divx video codec...so i d/l the latest one from divx.com and surprise...it played as normal in winamp

thanks guys for all ur help..BTW the clip was pretty ace but very short

is there anymore new stuff coming in?? any vids or pics of imogen bailey or jo ashton would be great...keep it updated!!!

yeah from what I can gather everything is being reuploaded after this site was moved to a new server. It's not a problem just try again over the next few days and hopefully all the videos have been restored by then :wink:
